Michael Chu has always been interested in retail and the technology space, and has been fortunate to explore these fields while working at Macy’s. He started as a full stack engineer, however wanted to pivot and bridge the gap between technology and the business. He transitioned into a product role, then moved on to lead an innovation lab, and finally found himself in business development. In his current role, he focuses on emerging technologies and advises leadership on future growth strategies. On a personal note, when he is not watching his 9 month old daughter, he enjoys hiking, cooking, and learning to build furniture.
