My background represents over 20 years of sales and marketing in the creative, design, marketing and technology industries. My work involves strategic planning, experiential design, integrated marketing, advertising, digital, branding, new business development, social media, sales, and consulting. Currently, I manage a virtual marketing agency and am engaged in leading marketing initiatives for several North American B2B companies.
In the recent decade I have been fortunate to merge my interests in technology, design and marketing with unique businesses and start-ups. I managed sales for Grupio, a leading mobile conference app company. Prior to this, I participated in a ground-up immersion experience with the start-up YouBthere, which created a web-based audience response application for the conference market. Here I focused on strategy, product development, testing, deployment, marketing, sales, and user experiences. For the start-up InnerGuide Technologies, a web-based facility navigation technology related to emergency response, terrorist attacks, school shootings, etc., I worked in new business development to find early adopters in the government and education spaces. Finally, I spent several years in corporate development selling a proprietary web-based SaaS technology to global clients such as Hilton, ACCOR/Sofitel, Sodexo, Caremark, and Schering-Plough.
Before start-ups captured my interest, I re-branded two boutique design and creative firms, sold and managed custom exhibits, retail environments, B2B / B2C brand experiences, and co-built an in-house design agency for a personal care company (Helene Curtis). Clients in my portfolio included FedEx, Panasonic, NBC Banks, Thomas & Friends, Learning Curve, & Coty U.S.
